PANDAS Getting Your Pink Back Campaign

From 10 – 17th October we are launching our #GettingYourPinkBack PANDAS Awareness and Big Give campaign! During the run up and the week itself we will be raising as much awareness as possible around the theme of this campaign, and thanks to The Big Give we will also be raising money which will then be DOUBLED! We also have some exciting collabs coming up so keep your eyes peeled 👀

What’s it all about?! 🦩

Did you know that when a flamingo, either male or female, is raising a young chick and feeding them crop milk, it drains them of their energy & nutrients? They give so much of their food to their offspring their pink colouring can dull or disappear….some even revert to black or white!

We know that the same thing can happen to human parents & carers during those tiring and testing early years…they too can start to lose their “vibrant colours,”….but with the right help and support they do can GET THEIR PINK BACK! 💓

As an organisation we are on a mission to help as many people as possible with #GettingYourPinkBack & we would love to hear your stories of recovery around this.

What would we like from you?

We’d love to see as many stories of hope & recovery about #GettingYourPinkBack as possible. How did you get yours back? Can you share this in a post, photo, blog or reel? Tag us @pandas_uk with the hashtag #GettingYourPinkBack & we will share as many as possible during the week 10-17th October.

Beautiful collaboration with Dakota Rae Dust!

We are so delighted to announce that Bec from Dakota Rae Dust has created a gorgeous range of earrings especially for our #GettingYourPinkBack campaign! They are handmade and made from recycled fabrics, and the perfect statement pieces to represent the metaphor of the flamingo getting its pink back!

Thanks to The Big Give, £10 from every single pair sold will go to PANDAS to help us in our work supporting parents, carers and their networks with their mental health from conception, through to birth and beyond!

We are so grateful to Bec for creating this range for PANDAS! Do give her a follow here, and check out the beautiful PINK range here.
