Offer Your Support from Home
Become a Helpline Volunteer
Provide a compassionate and understanding ear to those facing perinatal mental health challenges, all while volunteering from the comfort of your own home.
About the PANDAS Helpline
The PANDAS Helpline is a callback service designed to support individuals dealing with perinatal mental health issues. Operating from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, it allows those in need to schedule a call with a trained volunteer at a time that suits them. This service ensures that everyone has access to the support they need in a timely and convenient manner.
Volunteers receive full online training, which they can complete from home at a time that suits them. Once trained, they become part of a supportive community of volunteers and staff who are available to offer guidance, answer questions and provide ongoing support
How Volunteering Works
Step 1
Volunteers choose their shifts using the PANDAS rota system, selecting times that fit their time.
Step 2
Once availability is confirmed, appointments are listed on the PANDAS website for people to book.
Step 3
Volunteers receive details about the call, ensuring they are prepared to offer support.
