Working With Your Brain, Not Against It
Parenting places demands on our time, energy, attention and emotional resources. For neurodivergent adults, these demands can be compounded by sensory overwhelm, executive functioning challenges, emotional intensity, burnout and the pressure to meet expectations that don’t always fit.
Parenting as a Neurodivergent Adult is a six-week ACT-informed course designed specifically for neurodivergent parents.
Drawing on Psychotherapeutic Occupational Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), this course offers an opportunity to better understand yourself, develop practical strategies and build a way of parenting that works with your brain rather than against it.
Together we’ll explore self-understanding, emotional wellbeing, sensory needs, values and sustainable approaches to navigating the realities of family life.
A supportive space to learn, reflect, connect with others and discover what works for you.
