Everyone welcome
Meets the last Friday of the month from 10:30 – 11:30
Group Facilitator: Leanne

What inspired Leanne to start her group? – I created this group to offer a gentle, nurturing space for parents to slow down, tune into their babies, and feel held. We are often told how to parent, but rarely are we given space to be with our little ones. I wanted to create somewhere where you are welcomed exactly as you are, whether you’re thriving, exhausted, emotional, or just curious to connect.
What does the building look like? How will I know I am in the right place? – The venue is next to Ulverston Leisure Centre. It has free parking on-site. When you arrive, you walk around the side of the building closest to the road and head through a brown door. There will usually be a PANDAS poster on the door. If in doubt, just pop me a message, I’ll happily guide you in.
Is there parking or public transport nearby?– Yes, there is plenty of parking and a bus stop
Any doors, buttons, or steps I should know about? – When you arrive, enter through the main entrance. Pram friendly with no steps. Buggies can be left in the hall, but there is plenty of space in the main room too if your little ones are sleeping on arrival. There are toilets and changing facilities available, and you’re welcome to feed, change or settle your baby however you need to; this is a judgment-free, baby-led space.
I feel a bit nervous and am still not sure if this is for me. – Expect a calm, gentle atmosphere, soft lighting, warm smiles, and time to settle in at your own pace. During half-term, older children are welcome, which adds a different vibe to our session. I usually try and have a guest speaker or host a seasonal party to keep everyone happy. When you come in, just find a comfortable spot. There’s no pressure to be on time or to have everything “together.” You’re welcome to sit, feed, cuddle, or just breathe. I will greet you and help you get settled, and there is always space for a chat if you’d like one.
Is there anything else I need to know? – This group is not about doing things perfectly; it’s about connection. Connection to your baby, to yourself, and to a community of parents who understand the journey you’re on.
