As so many of us will remember, the Covid 19 pandemic was such a tough time for those needing to access mental health support. All of our in-person peer to peer support groups were forced to close due to social distancing rules.

Because of the severe impact of this and the time it took for everything to get up and running again, many were unable to reopen, and PANDAS took many of our services online to close the gap and to try and ensure no parent or carer felt alone. We are proud to continue with these online services, including our Thursday evening support call, our email service and our WhatsApp messaging service.

We are also delighted to report that our PANDAS in-person groups are very much now back up and running, and they are stronger and more active than ever! Thanks to some very generous funding from the Julia Rausing trust and Balcombe trust we now have 33 live PANDAS groups up and down the UK, and more being created as we speak!

Led by a PANDAS Foundation trained and supervised Group Facilitators, the support groups offer a calm community for parents and carers who may be struggling. They provide a safe space for you and your baby or toddler, where you can meet other parents and carers to chat, listen and share your experiences.

To find out if there’s a group near you, you can head to our Support Groups where you can pop in your address, postcode, or the name of your town.
